Warehouse expectations

Overview

Snacks and drinks

Overview

Our warehouse is leased we do not own it. The expectation is that we will treat the warehouse like we do own it with respect, cleanliness and safety. Sections below will specify some of those areas.

Garbage

Snacks and drinks

Overview

We have garbage bins right next to our overhead door, in the office and in the bathroom. All garbage goes into these garbage bins and they should get emptied frequently. We have a large dumpster outside. This is everbody's job and you are expected to clean up after yourself. This applies to trucks as well. Please clean garbage from the truck when you are done with your shift.

Pallet Racking and Forklifts

During the season we keep the fridge stocked with water and generally keep snacks on top of the fridge. These are free and encouraged to use and take with you. We ask that you finish the water that you take. Nothing is worse than seeing half drank water bottles in trucks and around the warehouse. That means that you aren't cleaning up after yourself and you're wasting resources.

Pallet Racking and Forklifts

Pallet Racking and Forklifts

We utilize pallet racking and forklifts for organizing inflatables. Only authorized employees are permitted to use forklifts. If you are an authorized employee the following are the expectations:

  • Propane tank should be in the closed position when done with the forklift
  • Electric lift should be plugged in
  • When equipment is re-palletized and ready to go back into the rack it should go back to where it is labeled. Every unit has a designated place.
  • If the roll of an inflatable is not suitable for racking do not rack it. Instead leave it on the floor with a note to re-roll it or immediately re-roll it and then rack it.
  • Only clean inflatables should be racked.
  • Always keep safety #1 priority when using forklifts. Never allow any person to be underneath a raised lift. Never use a phone while operating machinery. Always pay close attention as to not damage the property or cause injury.
  • Always wear seatbelt on the forklift.
  • Be very aware of your height as the backstop on the forks can damage the ceiling.

Employee Parking

Employee Parking

  • Park in designated parking spots
  • Do not park in the front of the property those spots are not for us.
  • Preferred parking area is the south side of the property away from buildings ( where our dumpster is).
  • When you pull into the property from the road ALWAYS go to the right as to respect the folks at Prime Property's building and they come in and out of their door right there to the left we do not want any accidents.
  • GO SLOW on the property.

Truck Parking

Employee Parking

  • During the busy season we usually will keep trailers outside in the blacktop north of the loading ramp.
  • Trucks can be parked in the loading ramp or on the blacktop north of the loading ramp.
  • Generally speaking 2 trucks can easily fit inside even during the busy season.
  • We have a key rack inside of the office. Keys are expected to be returned to this key rack once trucks are parked. Trucks parked inside can have the keys left in the ignition but trucks parked outside need to have the keys returned to the key rack in the office.
